Flush the line by opening the external bleed before the first automatic cycle so grit does not lodge under the diaphragm. If a zone ever sticks open or will not open, unscrew the bonnet, rinse the diaphragm and seat, and reassemble; no pipe cutting needed. The 2400S has no flow control; choose the 2400SF if you want to throttle the zone.
