weaver-gum-rubber-bell-boots
Weaver Gum Rubber Bell Boots

Give your horse simple, dependable heel protection with Weaver Gum Rubber Bell Boots. Molded from quality natural gum rubber, these pull-on bell boots slip over the hoof and settle around the pastern with no straps, buckles or hook and loop to fasten, fray or fail. The soft, pliable gum rubber flexes with every stride while the ribbed bell shields the heel bulbs, coronet band and shoe heels from overreach strikes by the hind feet. Use them for turnout, lunging, trail riding, arena work and trailering, or on any horse that forges, overreaches or pulls front shoes. Because there is no closure to catch on fencing or collect mud, pull-on overreach boots are a favorite for pasture wear and for horses that fuss with strap-style boots. Warm the boots in your hands or in a bucket of warm water first to make them easier to stretch, especially in cold weather. The fit should be snug enough that the boot does not spin, with room to slide a finger between the rubber and the pastern. Check for rubs after the first few rides and rinse the boots after muddy work.

Choose Your Size

Choose Medium for large ponies and small to average riding horses, or Large for average to big-footed horses. The boot should cover the heel bulbs without dragging under the heel; if it rides up onto the pastern it is too small. Pull-on gum rubber boots stretch during fitting, so choose the size that is snug on the pastern rather than sizing up.

Specifications

Brand: Weaver Equine

Type: Pull-on gum rubber bell boots (overreach boots)

Material: Natural gum rubber

Color: Gum (translucent amber)

Sizes: Medium, Large

Closure: None, pull-on

Sold: Per pair

Stop by Garoppo’s Stone & Garden Center and Feed & Pet Supply to pick up a pair, or schedule local delivery within our service area.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0968/5322/9860/files/weaver-gum-rubber-bell-boots-medium_453d74ce-299d-4fbd-941b-964a8f8fd11d.png?v=1793712767
