Description
Bring a soft glow to the flower bed with the Sunset Vista Designs Butterfly Botanical Solar Stake. An openwork metal globe sits on a bronze-tone stake, filled with filigree butterflies and flowering branches. Pale blue butterflies stand out against bronze ones, and a small glass globe rests at the center. A solar panel mounted partway down the stake charges by day and lights the globe at night, so the butterflies show in silhouette after dark. About 42.5" tall overall, it stands on a stake with a foot bar and suits a border, a pollinator garden or a large planter.
Key Features
- Openwork butterfly globe: Filigree bronze and pale blue butterflies among flowering branches, with a glass globe at the center.
- Solar lit: A solar panel on the stake charges in daylight and lights the globe automatically at night.
- Bronze-tone finish: A warm metallic finish on the stake and globe that blends with foliage and mulch by day.
- Stake with foot bar: About 42.5" tall and 11" wide, on a stake you press into the soil by foot.
- Sunset Vista Designs: A family-run outdoor decor company that has been designing whimsical garden art, wind chimes and hanging decor for garden centers since the 1990s.
Where to Display It
Set it where the solar panel on the stake gets several hours of direct sun, such as a sunny border, a pollinator bed or beside a patio path. Push the stake straight into soft soil and press the foot bar with your shoe to seat it. Keep growing plants from shading the panel as the season goes on, and wipe the panel and globe with a soft damp cloth when pollen or dust builds up. Place it where you can see it from a window or seating area after dark. Pull it before the ground freezes and store it dry over winter. Pair it with other Sunset Vista Designs solar stakes and butterfly decor for a matched pollinator garden.
A Thoughtful Gift
Butterfly solar stakes make a thoughtful gift for pollinator gardeners, new homeowners and anyone who enjoys the yard in the evening. It runs on sunlight with no cords or outlets, so it works anywhere outdoors, and it arrives ready to place in the bed.
