Description
Hang your planters and feeders from something prettier with the Sunset Vista Designs Butterfly Decorative S-Hook. A long dark metal S hook carries a turquoise butterfly at its center, its wings traced with painted gold vines, scrolls and dotted edges and its brown body topped with curled antennae. The wide upper curve hooks over a beam, bracket or shepherd’s hook, and the lower curve holds a hanging basket, bird feeder, lantern or wind chime. About 16.5" long, it adds color at eye level on a porch, trellis or patio.
Key Features
- Turquoise gold butterfly: Metal butterfly painted in turquoise with gold vine and scroll accents and curled antennae.
- Extended S hook: A 16.5" hook drops a planter, feeder or chime lower where you can see and reach it.
- Metal construction: Sturdy metal hook for outdoor display on a porch, tree or shepherd’s hook.
- Bold garden accent: Graceful wings with etched detail make a statement even when nothing hangs from it.
- Sunset Vista Designs: A family-run outdoor decor company that has been designing whimsical garden art, wind chimes and hanging decor for garden centers since the 1990s.
How to Use It
Slip the top curve over a porch beam, pergola rafter, plant bracket, tree branch or the arm of a shepherd’s hook, then hang a basket, hummingbird feeder, lantern or wind chime from the bottom curve. Use it to drop a hanging basket down from a tall beam so the blooms sit at eye level, or to lower a feeder within easy reach for refilling. Check that the branch or bracket can carry the weight of what you hang. Bring it in during high wind and ice to protect the painted finish, and wipe the butterfly with a soft dry cloth now and then. Pair it with the Sunset Vista Designs Gold Hummingbird and Gold Dragonfly chimes for a matching set.
A Thoughtful Gift
A decorative hook is a useful little gift for a gardener, a new homeowner with a bare porch or anyone who loves butterflies, and it pairs well with a hanging basket from our greenhouse. It arrives ready to use.
