Description
Repair and connect chain in the field with the Campbell Cold Shut, a zinc-plated steel connecting link that closes permanently without welding. Slip the open end through a chain link or fitting, drive it through the cold shut eye with a hammer, then peen the tip over to lock it tight. Also called a lap link or chain repair link, it’s the fast, no-torch way to join chain, hang a load, or close a loop on the farm, ranch, or job site.

- 3/16 in: for lighter chain and attachments
- 1/4 in: for heavier chain repairs and connections
How to Use & Where
- Zinc-plated steel construction resists rust indoors and out
- Drive the open end through the eye with a hammer, then peen to close
- Use one size larger than your chain size for a proper fit

- Not for overhead lifting or hoisting; do not reuse after closing
