How to Use It
Choose a plant with attitude. A small paddle cactus, a spiky haworthia, a tuft of sedum or a rosette of echeveria all suit Chico's head-sized opening. Fill it with a fast-draining cactus mix, plant just below the rim and water lightly only when the soil dries out. Chico is happiest on a sunny kitchen sill, an office desk or a bathroom shelf where his face gets noticed. Outdoors, set him on a patio table, a wide porch rail or the edge of a raised bed. Pair him with Rufus the dachshund for a two-dog display, and dust him with a soft brush now and then.
