Description
Brighten a desk or kitchen sill with the Cohasset Gifts & Gardens Perky the Dog Planter, a tall, cup-shaped pup who always looks ready for a walk. Perky wears a taupe coat with a cream muzzle, a shiny dark button nose that pokes out past his grin, and two upright ears that rise on either side of the rim. His wide white eyes look up expectantly, waiting for someone to pick up the leash. At 4-1/2 inches tall, this Blobhouse dog planter holds a small houseplant or succulent whose leaves turn into a shaggy head of hair, and the taller shape gives roots a little more room than the lower animals in the line.

How to Use It
Fill Perky with potting mix suited to whatever you plant, then top him with a small pothos, a fern or a crested succulent so the foliage becomes his fur. Set him on a saucer indoors to catch water from the drain hole. Water when the top inch of mix feels dry and empty the saucer afterward. Put the dog planter where the upward gaze catches people, such as a kitchen windowsill, a hallway table or the front edge of a desk. Perky is happy outdoors on a porch table in summer; bring him in once nights turn cold. Line him up with Bailey and Stella from the same collection and the three faces read like a litter waiting at the door.
