Stella is a tall, creamy-white pup with one ear standing straight up, the other flopped to the side and a periwinkle-blue bow perched on her head. Her round white eyes and wide, toothy grin give her a look of pure delight. The opening sits on top, so a trailing sedum or a small fern becomes her hairdo and the bow looks like it is holding the leaves in place. At 5 inches tall, Stella is one of the taller dogs in the Blobhouse line, which means a little more room for roots and a plant that stands above the rim.

How to Use It
Plant Stella with a trailing sedum, a burro’s tail or a small fern so the stems tumble past her bow, or choose a compact succulent for a tidier look. Use a well-draining mix and keep a saucer underneath indoors to catch water from the drain hole. Water when the top of the mix feels dry and pour off any excess. Stand her on a windowsill, a bathroom shelf or a bedside table where the grin is easy to see. In summer she can move to a covered porch table; bring her inside before frost. Set Stella next to Bailey and Perky and the three faces make a quick, cheerful gift for a dog-loving friend or a child’s first plant.
