Run your landscape and hardscape lights from your phone with the Dewenwils Wi-Fi Low Voltage Landscape Transformer, a smart 120V AC to 12V/14V AC power supply in a wall-mount all-metal housing. Choose the 120W, 200W or 300W model to match your fixture load. Each one gives you three independent output zones, so path, wall and accent lights can follow their own schedules, and each zone switches between 12V and 14V to offset voltage drop on long runs. Control it in the Dewenwils or Smart Life app, or by voice with Alexa and Google Assistant, no hub required.
Key Features
-
Three wattages: Pick 120W (HWLT03A), 200W (HWLT04A) or 300W (HWLT05A) to match your total lamp load; all three share the same features and footprint.
-
Three independent zones: Press the Zone button to set 12V or 14V AC on each of the three outputs and give every run its own schedule.
-
Five timer modes: Schedule, circulate, random, countdown and astronomical dusk-to-dawn, set per zone in 1-minute steps with weekly repeat.
-
Protected and remembered: Overload, over-current and short-circuit protection cut power before damage, and settings live in the cloud so an outage does not erase them.

About Dewenwils: Dewenwils makes smart plugs, timers and low-voltage lighting transformers for home automation, and all three sizes share the optional HWLT03A-P2 antenna.
How to Install It
Add up the wattage of every fixture you plan to connect and choose a transformer with capacity above that total. Mount the metal housing on an exterior wall or in the garage near a GFCI outlet, plug in the 3.3 ft cord and land your low-voltage runs on the three output terminals. Press the Zone button to set 12V or 14V per output, using 14V on the longest runs. In the Dewenwils app, press the plus button and the transformer pairs over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. Set an astronomical schedule for dusk-to-dawn lighting, add countdown or random modes for security, and link Alexa or Google Assistant.

Dewenwils Wi-Fi low-voltage landscape transformer family: HWLT03A 120W, HWLT04A 200W, HWLT05A 300W. 120V AC input, 12V/14V AC output selectable per zone, three independent output zones. Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz only, no hub; Dewenwils and Smart Life apps, Alexa and Google Assistant. Five timer modes (schedule, circulate, random, countdown, astronomical) in 1-minute increments, per zone, weekly repeat. Overload, over-current and short-circuit protection; cloud memory of settings. All-metal SPCC steel enclosure with waterproof coating, toroidal core, 10" x 5.6" x 3.5", 3.3 ft 18AWG cord. 120W is FCC listed; 200W and 300W are ETL listed, with the 300W rated to DOE VI efficiency.
Key Features
- Sizing: Three capacities on one chassis. Size to total lamp load with headroom; the app reports live wattage so overloads show up before the protection trips.
- Zones: Three outputs, each with its own 12V/14V tap and schedule. Put the longest run on 14V to offset drop; keep 12V on short runs to protect lamps.
- Control: App, voice, or the Zone button on the unit. Astronomical mode gives dusk-to-dawn without a photocell; countdown and random modes cover security use.
- Protection: Auto cut-off on over-current, overload and short. Settings stored in the cloud, so a GFCI trip or ISP outage does not reset schedules.
- Enclosure: Metal, waterproof coated, wall mount indoors or out. Optional HWLT03A-P2 antenna fits all three models for weak-signal locations.
Installation
- Mount: Wall mount near a GFCI receptacle; the cord is 3.3 ft. Garage or exterior wall both acceptable.
- Terminate: Land each low-voltage home run on one of the three output terminals. Group fixtures by function (path, wall, accent) so zone schedules make sense to the owner.
- Tap: Set 12V or 14V per zone with the Zone button. Measure voltage at the last fixture on each run and adjust.
- Pair: Press the plus button in the Dewenwils app on a 2.4 GHz network. Build the astronomical schedule per zone and hand the app login to the client.
Spec Notes
For crews that install brass fixtures such as the Tru-Scapes TS-B102 at 4W each, the 120W unit carries roughly 25 fixtures, the 200W about 45 and the 300W about 65 before allowing for cable loss and headroom. Three zones with independent taps replace the multi-tap transformer plus separate timer and photocell on most residential jobs. Note the listing difference across the family (FCC on the 120W, ETL on the 200W and 300W) when a spec calls for a specific mark. Store shipping weights are 10 lb (120W) and 20 lb (200W and 300W). Sold per transformer; each wattage is a separate model number and UPC.
