The compact round body is injection-molded structural-foam plastic with a green snap-on lid engraved IRRIGATION CONTROL VALVE, so it sits flush in the turf and still tells anyone who finds it what is underneath. It is the box for the odd valve at the end of a run, the quick-coupler by the vegetable garden or the low-point drain that needs to be reached every fall, without digging or a full-size rectangular box. Made in the U.S.A. for non-vehicular areas.

How to Install It
Dig a round hole slightly larger than the box and deep enough for the lid to sit at grade. Put a few inches of gravel in the bottom so water drains away from the valve, set the valve or coupler, and lower the box over it with the pipe passing under the rim. Backfill snugly around the outside and press the lid on. Use it at a hose-end quick coupler so you can connect a hose without a permanent bib, over a manual drain valve at the low point of the system, or over an isolation valve for a single zone. Because the lid is green, it disappears into the lawn; mark the location on your irrigation plan. Keep it out of driveways and other vehicle paths.
