Build seat walls, planters, fire pits and low retaining walls with the split-stone look of the EP Henry Coventry Wall III. Every unit is finished on both faces, so the same block works for a freestanding garden wall or a single-sided retaining wall. Each cube mixes three lengths, 6", 10" and 16", all 10" deep, in a 6" or 3" course height, and pins lock each course to the next. Pick Dakota Blend, Pewter Blend or Harvest Blend, sold per piece.
Key Features
-
Double-face split texture: Both faces of the Coventry Wall III block are split, so freestanding walls and fire pits look right from every side.
-
Three lengths per cube: 6", 10" and 16" units come mixed, and units split to make corners.
-
Pin connection: Two Coventry Wall III pins per block (none under the cap) set alignment and batter.
-
Curves and height: Radius down to 33-1/2" with the 6" and 10" units; walls to 33" unreinforced, engineer required above 48".
-
About EP Henry: EP Henry of Woodbury, New Jersey joined Oldcastle APG in 2021, and its paver and wall lines are now produced and sold as Belgard Metro products from the same regional plants.

How to Install It
Start on a level, compacted aggregate base, or set the matching 6" base block for the first course. Stack the units with two pins in each block and step each course back 1/2" for the 9 degree batter. Vary the three lengths so vertical joints stagger, and split a unit wherever you turn a corner. Finish the top with the 3 x 12 x 16 in rectangular split cap glued down with a high-strength flexible concrete adhesive.

Coventry Wall III is EP Henry's double-face, pin-connected split wall system, now produced as Belgard Metro product. Each cube is a three-piece random mix of 6, 10 and 16 in lengths, all 10 in deep, in 6 in or 3 in course heights. Take off at roughly 1.5 pcs per sq ft of face for the 6 in units and 3 pcs per sq ft for the 3 in units; a cube of either height covers 32 sq ft (72 pcs at 3,223 lb, or 144 pcs at 3,336 lb). The 3 in units are Metro-region product only. Garoppo's sells per piece, so partial cubes for repairs, columns and short seat walls are no problem.
Key Features
- Double face: Split texture on both faces, so freestanding, single-sided retaining, columns, fire pits and kitchen bases all come out of the same cube.
- Splittable corners: 8/6, 10/8 and 16/14 faces split for outside corners; one solid 16 in unit per layer has no channels. Dedicated 6 in corner units: 6 x 16 x 10 in double-sided (74 lb) and 6 x 14 x 8 in single-sided (51 lb).
- Pin system: Two Coventry Wall III pins per block, none under the cap; the pins set a 1/2 in, 9 degree batter per course. Use only Coventry Wall III pins.
- Height and radius: 33 in max unreinforced (36 in with batter per the 2022 wall chart); engineer above 48 in. Tightest radius 33-1/2 in with the 6 and 10 in units, 48 in using all sizes.
- Metro lineage: EP Henry (Woodbury, NJ) joined Oldcastle APG in 2021; the line now ships as Belgard Metro product from the Woodbury NJ, Parker Ford PA and Wrightstown NJ plants, with the EP Henry trademarks carried over.

How to Install It
Set the first course on a compacted, leveled aggregate base sized for the site's freeze-thaw exposure, or use the 6 x 18/17 x 10 in base block (40 pcs, 27.5 sq ft, 3,402 lb per cube). Drive two pins per block and let the pins establish the batter; check level front-to-back on every course, since a double-face wall shows drift on both sides. Pull units from several positions in the cube to keep the length mix and color blend random. Cap with the 3 x 12 x 16 in rectangular split cap (straight runs) or the tapered universal cap (curves), glued with a high-strength flexible concrete adhesive; no pins under the cap course.
