Description

Frame a fire pit, seat wall, planter or outdoor bar with the EP Henry Double Sided Cast Stone Wall, a solid unit finished on both faces so the wall reads as natural stone from every angle. Random lengths of 6, 10 and 16 in break up the coursing the way a mason would. Choose the chiseled Cut Stone Adirondack face or the linear stacked look of Ledgestone Aztec and Ledgestone Allegheny. The photos show seat walls, fire pits and a pool-side bar topped with Belmont caps.

Colors

  • Cut Stone Adirondack: Grey, chiseled quarried profile.
  • Ledgestone Aztec: Tan and brown, tight linear stacked-stone profile.
  • Ledgestone Allegheny: Grey, linear stacked-stone profile.

Key Features

  • Finished both sides: Every unit shows a full stone face front and back, so seat walls, columns and planters need no veneer or second wythe.
  • Mortarless build: Solid units set in adhesive with no setback go up in about one-third the time and half the cost of conventional masonry.
  • Tested and warranted: Meets or exceeds manufactured stone standards for shear bond strength and freeze-thaw, with a lifetime transferable limited warranty.
  • About EP Henry: The Woodbury, New Jersey hardscape maker joined Oldcastle APG in 2021 and its lines now sell as Belgard Metro products, made in the same NJ and PA plants.

How to Install It

Set the first course level on a compacted stone base, then stack each course in adhesive with the faces flush. Mix the 6, 10 and 16 in lengths so vertical joints stagger, and use the two-piece corner for square ends and columns. Keep outside curves to a radius of at least 33 in. As a freestanding wall the units are rated to 24 in without reinforcement on the EP Henry wall chart. Finish with Belmont caps in Bluestone or Brownstone.
