EP Henry has discontinued this line, so what is on our yard is closeout stock and sells while it lasts.

How to Install It
Dig a trench about 24 in wide and lay a 6 in compacted base of modified stone. Chip the lip off the base-course units so they sit flat, level them in both directions, then stack the next courses lip-down so each one locks behind the course below. Switch to tapered blocks where the wall bends and keep the inside radius at 22 in or more from the back of block. Backfill behind the wall with 12 in of 1/2 to 3/4 in clean stone before adding soil. Stop at four courses.

EP Henry English Garden Wall is a discontinued 4 in dry-cast split-face garden wall unit with a rear-lip locator, sold from remaining yard stock. Two shapes, Tapered (Beveled) and Rectangular, in Gray and Harvest Blend. Spec it only for planters, tree rings, borders and low garden walls to four courses; the manufacturer does not rate it as a retaining wall. Buy the full job quantity in one pull, since there is no reorder and color lots will not be matched later.

How to Install It
Per the EP Henry 2015 catalog: excavate a 24 in wide trench and place 6 in of compacted modified stone base. Chip the lip off the base-course units, set them lip side down and level in both directions, then run subsequent courses lip-down so each engages the back of the course below and pulls the setback automatically. Alternate rectangular and tapered units as the alignment changes, holding inside curves to 22 in minimum radius. Backfill 12 in behind the wall with 1/2 to 3/4 in clean stone, then topsoil. Stop at four courses. Treat it like any dry-cast unit for freeze-thaw: drained base, clean-stone backfill, no ponding at the toe.
