How to Install It
Excavate for a compacted aggregate base under the patio, walkway or pool deck, screed a sand bedding layer, and lay the three sizes in a random modular pattern off two string lines to keep joints square. Alternate the small, medium and large pieces so seams do not line up, and pull from several pallet layers at once to blend color. Edge the field with a paver restraint, sweep in joint sand and compact. Keep Trilogy Smooth to patios, walkways and pool decks; it is not rated for driveways or vehicular use. Skip sealing, since ColorTech is applied at the plant.

How to Install It
Build a compacted aggregate base sized for pedestrian loading and soil conditions, screed a 1 in bedding course, and lay from string lines in a random modular pattern, pulling from multiple layers to blend color. For a permeable section, substitute open-graded base and bedding and joint with the specified aggregate at the 7 mm spacing. Restrain all edges, sweep joints and compact with a protected plate. Hold the field to patios, walkways and pool decks; do not spec Trilogy Smooth for driveways or vehicular aprons. Confirm the piece size on the store variant before pricing a job by the piece.
