How to Use
Set the stake in a spot that is shaded for most of the day and out of direct afternoon sun, since a thermometer in full sun reads the heat of the sun on the dial rather than the air. A bed on the north side of the house, under a tree or beside a porch gives the truest reading. Push the stake in until it stands firm, and pull it up before the ground freezes hard. Wipe the dial with a damp cloth as needed.
