The active ingredient dinotefuran does the killing; (Z)-9-tricosene, the fly sex pheromone, does the attracting, which is why flies come to the bait rather than having to find it by accident. It is designed for the low areas of agricultural and industrial settings — in and around residential, commercial, institutional and agricultural structures, including livestock and other animal facilities as stated on the label. You can broadcast it as a scatter bait or load it into bait stations, whichever suits the site.
