How to Install It
Set the 4 in. drain fitting so its hub will sit at the finished floor surface before the concrete or topping goes down, and cover the opening while you pour. Once the floor has cured, clean any grit out of the hub and press the strainer in until the grate is level with the floor. The fit is a friction fit; leave it uncemented if you want to lift the grate for cleaning. Grade the floor toward the drain so water sheets across the slots.
