Description
Pills are a fight until they stop tasting like pills. Greenies Pill Pockets are soft treats with a ready-made pouch in the middle: drop the medication in, pinch the top shut, and hand it over. The treat smell and taste cover the medicine completely, so there is no more wrapping tablets in cheese and hoping. They are the number one veterinarian-recommended way to give a dog a pill.
Key features
- Built-in pouch: holds the pill; pinch the top and it seals around it.
- #1 vet recommended: for at-home pill giving, by survey of US veterinarians.
- Real chicken taste: masks both the smell and the taste of medication.
- Tablet size: for smaller tablets and pills.
- Low calorie: a small treat, not a meal — easy to work into a daily routine.
How to use
Hold the treat in one hand, drop the pill into the opening, then pinch the top closed with the same hand so the treat seals around the medicine. Give it to your dog like any other treat. Many owners give one empty pocket first and one straight after, so the medicated one never stands out.
Sizes
The 3.2 OZ pack holds 30 pockets — about a month of once-daily dosing.
Stocked at Garoppo's, with store pickup and local delivery inside our service area.
