Description
Set up camp for the birds with the Sunset Vista Designs Happy Campers Welcome Camper Birdhouse. A vintage green-and-white camper trailer sits on a brown deck base with a black-and-white striped awning, a galvanized door and a chalkboard sign that reads "Happy Campers Welcome." Two tiny wooden chairs, a yellow table and a kettle grill sit out front. The entry hole for birds is on the end of the trailer, with a round clean-out door on the back. Made of wood and metal with a jute twine loop, it measures approximately 9.5" x 6.75" x 6".
Key Features
- Vintage camper trailer: Green-and-white camper with a striped awning, galvanized door and Happy Campers Welcome chalkboard sign.
- Campsite scene: Two wooden chairs, a yellow table and a kettle grill on the deck out front.
- Built for birds: Entry hole on the end of the trailer and a round clean-out door on the back.
- Twine loop: A jute twine loop is included for easy hanging display in a garden, porch or deck.
- Sunset Vista Designs: A family-run outdoor decor company that has been designing whimsical garden art, wind chimes and hanging decor for garden centers since the 1990s.
Where to Display It
Hang it from a porch hook, tree branch or shepherd’s hook in the garden, or on a deck post where it can be seen from the patio table. It is also right at home on a shelf in a camper, cabin or sunroom. A spot under an overhang keeps the wood and paint looking new longest. If birds nest in it, wait until they fledge, then open the round clean-out door on the back and brush out the old material. Bring it in for winter and heavy rain, and dust it with a soft brush. Pair it with the Farm Fresh red camper ornament and other Sunset Vista Designs birdhouses for a camping theme.
A Thoughtful Gift
Campers, RV owners and glampers will recognize the scene right away, and so will bird watchers. It makes a good housewarming gift for a new camper, a hostess gift for a campground host or a birthday present for a grandparent. It arrives ready to hang.
