How to Use
Feed to complement grass hay and pasture, offered free choice along with clean, fresh water daily. Kent recommends 0.25 lb per 100 lb of body weight for adult maintenance animals, 0.50 lb per 100 lb for show, breeding, senior or stressed animals and for the last eight to ten weeks of gestation, 0.70 lb per 100 lb through the first four months of lactation, and 0.25 to 0.35 lb per 50 lb for crias. Roughly half a pound equals one and a half cups. Adjust for body condition, test your forage where possible, and store in a cool, dry place. Caution: do not feed to sheep, which are copper sensitive.
