Description
Hang a little log cabin in the garden with the Sunset Vista Designs Home Sweet Home Cabin Birdhouse. Stacked log walls, a covered front porch on posts and an oval "Home Sweet Home" sign over the door give it the look of a woods cabin, while a side wing holds the round entrance hole. Pinecones and moss sit on the log roof, a tiny picket fence rings the base and a jute twine loop hangs it from a hook. In a natural brown finish, it measures approximately 9.25" x 8.5" x 6.25".
Key Features
- Log cabin styling: Stacked logs, a front porch with posts and a Home Sweet Home sign over the door.
- Metal and wood: Built of metal and wood in a natural brown finish that suits a rustic garden.
- Woodland details: Pinecones and moss on the roof, a picket fence around the base and a round entrance on the side wing.
- Twine loop: A jute loop is included for easy hanging display.
- Sunset Vista Designs: A family-run outdoor decor company that has been designing whimsical garden art, wind chimes and hanging decor for garden centers since the 1990s.
Where to Display It
Hang it from a branch, a porch hook or a shepherd’s hook in the garden, or on a deck post where you can see it from the table. A spot under an overhang keeps the wood and moss looking new longest, and it also suits a sunroom shelf or an entry table indoors. Bring it in for winter and during heavy rain, and dust it with a soft brush or dry cloth. Group it with other Sunset Vista Designs birdhouses, the rowboat and cabin pieces and woodland garden art for a whole little village along the porch.
A Thoughtful Gift
Cabin birdhouses make a warm housewarming gift for a new home or a first cabin, and a good birthday present for bird lovers and rustic decor fans. It arrives ready to hang from its twine loop.
