Wiring — Quick Overview
Two color-coded leads from the sensor connect to the controller’s SENS terminal pair (Hunter controllers) or break the valve common on controllers without a dedicated sensor input. The default switch state is normally closed — current flows in dry weather and the controller waters normally; when rainfall trips the disc stack, the switch opens and the controller treats the sensor as “active”, suspending the schedule. A normally-open variant ships as MINI-CLIK-NO if your installation needs reverse-polarity logic.
Compatible Controllers
The Mini-Clik works with every modern Hunter controller, including ACC, ACC2, HC, HCC, HPC, I-Core®, ICC2, MCC, Pro-C®, Pro-HC, X2, X-Core®, XC Hybrid, NODE, NODE-BT, and WVC. It also works with any 24 VAC controller from Rain Bird, Irritrol, Toro, Orbit, or other vendors that accepts a normally open or normally closed rain switch on its sensor terminal. On controllers without a SENS input, splice the sensor in series on the valve common (a standard install method covered in any rain sensor manual).
