Description
Give your sprinkler controller three more zones in under a minute with the Hunter PCM-300 3-Station Output Module for Pro-C and HPC Controllers. The compact plug-in module drops into an open bay on a Hunter Pro-C or HPC (Hydrawise) modular controller, locks in place with the Power Lock bar and is recognized automatically, so there is no wiring inside the cabinet and nothing to program. Take a four-zone Pro-C to seven, seven to ten or ten to thirteen stations as the landscape grows, adding a drip zone for the vegetable beds or a new lawn area without replacing the controller.
Key Features
- Three stations per module: Expands a Pro-C or HPC from 4 to 7, 7 to 10 or 10 to 13 zones.
- Plug in and go: Hunter Power Lock secures the module and the controller recognizes the new stations on its own.
- Wired valve outputs: Conventional terminals for standard 24 VAC field valves; no network connection required.
- Built for the cabinet: Commercial-grade construction for outdoor controller enclosures.
- About Hunter: The PCM-300 is the smallest of Hunter Industries’ Pro-C output modules, alongside the 9-station PCM-900 and 16-station PCM-1600.
How to Install It
Open the controller door and slide the Power Lock bar to the unlocked position. Seat the PCM-300 in the next open module bay, press until it clicks and slide the bar back to lock it. The controller will show the new station count. Land the common and hot wire from each new valve on the module’s terminals, then set run times and days for the added stations in your program or in the Hydrawise app on an HPC. Modules must be added in order, so fill bays from left to right. Pair the PCM-300 with a valve box and three new valves when you extend the system, and keep a spare on hand if the landscape is still growing.
