Install Notes
Mount location: indoor only — garage, utility closet, mechanical room, or basement. The cabinet is not weather-rated; do not install outdoors (step up to XC-600 with the locking outdoor enclosure for outdoor installs).
Power: 120 VAC convenience outlet within reach of the 6 ft plug-in transformer cord. No hardwiring required.
Valve wiring: 18 AWG multi-strand sprinkler wire from the valve box, common to the C terminal, hots to stations 1–6.
Sensor (optional): two leads from a Hunter Mini-Clik / Rain-Clik / Wireless Rain-Clik to the SENS terminal pair. Flip the bypass switch to ACTIVE; the umbrella icon confirms the sensor is engaged.
Solar Sync (optional): Pair the Solar Sync transmitter (wireless or wired, sold separately) and the controller takes over seasonal adjust automatically based on local ET data.
