How to Use

Adjust the feeding rate to the condition of the horse. Mature horses at maintenance take 0.45 to 0.65 pounds per 100 pounds of body weight daily, horses in light exercise take 0.50 to 0.75 pounds, moderate work calls for 0.60 to 0.85 pounds, and heavy work 0.70 to 0.95 pounds. A quart weighs about 1.4 pounds, so weigh the ration instead of counting scoops. These rates assume grass or mixed grass hay. Provide good-quality hay or pasture, free-choice salt and plenty of fresh water. Store the bag in a cool, dry place, and do not feed this product to sheep because it contains supplemental copper.
