How to Use It
Set the dry pellets in your Jiffy greenhouse tray or any shallow container, add warm water and wait for them to expand fully. Fluff the top of each plug, sow two or three seeds, cover lightly and put the dome on to hold in humidity. Keep the pellets moist but not soggy and give the tray bright light or a grow lamp once sprouts appear. Thin to the strongest seedling per pellet. When roots begin to show through the mesh and the weather has settled, plant the entire pellet at soil level in the bed or in a larger pot. The refills also suit herbs and annual flowers, and a second box keeps you covered for succession sowing through spring.
