Under the waterproof shell is a soft orthopedic foam base that gives joints something forgiving to lie on instead of concrete or a plank floor. A thermostat inside brings the surface up to your pet's normal body temperature only while they are on it, so it is not burning power heating an empty shed all night. The cord is wrapped in steel to stand up to a bored dog with teeth, and a washable fleece cover is included.

How to Use
- Set the bed on a flat, sheltered surface inside a doghouse, shed, garage, or barn stall.
- Plug the steel-wrapped cord directly into a grounded 110/120V outlet, not an indoor extension cord.
- Route the cord so your pet cannot stand on it or drag the bed by it.
- Allow an hour before checking warmth; the surface stays cool until a pet lies down, which is normal.
- Remove the fleece cover to machine wash on the gentle cycle in cold water, then line or air dry it fully.
