The bowl is 15-5/8 in. long, 6 in. wide and 3-1/2 in. tall and holds 5 pints, and one side is flat so you can set a full scoop down on a feed bin lid without spilling. The handle has molded finger grips and an eyelet at the end for hanging on a nail, and the plastic is approved for food handling.

How to Use It
Keep one scoop in each feed bin and use the same color for the same feed every day, so nobody grabs the sweet feed scoop for the layer ration. Fill the scoop by pushing it into the bin with the flat side down, then level it off against the bin edge for a consistent measure. Outside the barn, use it for ice melt on the walk, potting mix in the greenhouse, birdseed at the feeder or sand in the shop. Rinse it with soap and water when switching between feeds and let it dry before hanging it back on its nail by the eyelet. The hard polypropylene will not absorb odors or stain the way softer plastics can.
