How to Use It
Set up the brooder before the chicks arrive. Hang the reflector lamp securely from a chain or bracket so it can never fall into the bedding, and position it to one side so chicks can move toward or away from the heat. Screw a filled jar onto the waterer base and set it on a low block so bedding stays out of the trough, then fill the second jar with chick starter and screw it onto the feeder base. Raise the lamp a little each week as the chicks feather out, and wash the jars and bases daily.
