How to Use It
Load two D alkaline batteries (not included), then keep one light hanging by the barn door for late-night checks on a foaling mare or a hen house latch and another in the truck for changing a tire on a dark road. The 206 m beam is long enough to sweep a back field for a loose animal, and the 27 lumen xenon lamp runs up to 8 hours 30 minutes on a fresh set of cells. Wipe the lens and threads clean after muddy chores, and pull the batteries if the light will sit unused for months so they cannot leak in the barrel. The black finish hides scuffs; Maglite makes other colors if you want a matching set.
