Martin's Eraser Maxx Super Concentrate Herbicide — Kills Grasses, Broadleaf Weeds, Brush & Vines (Glyphosate + Imazapyr)

Martin's Eraser Maxx Super Concentrate is a fast-acting, non-selective total vegetation killer that controls grasses, broadleaf weeds, brush, vines, and trees with a single application. Built on a dual mode of action — glyphosate plus imazapyr — it delivers visible burndown in days and residual soil activity that keeps treated ground clear for up to one year. Use it for whole-area cleanup or as a spot treatment for season-long control in non-crop areas. It is rainfast within one hour of application. This is the same total-vegetation formula many homeowners know as a direct alternative to RM43.

Not for use on lawns. Eraser Maxx is non-selective and will kill any green vegetation it contacts, including desirable grass and ornamentals. It is intended for fence rows, driveways, patios, mulch beds, gravel areas, and other spots where you want bare, weed-free ground.

Active Ingredients + Mode of Action

• Glyphosate (isopropylamine salt) 43.68% — systemic, translocated herbicide. Inhibits the EPSP synthase enzyme (WSSA Group 9) plants need to build essential amino acids. Moves through the plant to the roots, so weeds die completely rather than just burning back. Acid equivalent: 3.2 lbs glyphosate per gallon.
• Imazapyr 0.78% — ALS-inhibitor (WSSA Group 2) with strong soil residual. This is what extends control up to a year and stops new weeds from re-establishing in treated ground. Acid equivalent: 0.062 lbs imazapyr per gallon.
• Other ingredients 55.54%.
• Two herbicide groups in one bottle — the glyphosate knocks down what's growing now; the imazapyr keeps the soil clear of regrowth. Together they give true long-term bare-ground control.

How to Mix & Apply

1. Read the product label before mixing. Mix rates differ for total vegetation control versus spot treatment — the full label (linked in the documentation section of this page) gives the exact ounces-per-gallon for your situation.
2. Mix in a tank or pump sprayer with clean water. Agitate to blend, then apply as a uniform spray that wets the foliage without heavy runoff.
3. Spray actively growing weeds on a warm, calm day. The herbicide moves best when plants are green and growing, not drought-stressed or dormant.
4. Rainfast in one hour — a shower after that window won't wash off the application.
5. Allow time for the systemic action. You'll see yellowing and browning within days; complete kill of established perennials and brush can take 1–3 weeks. The imazapyr then holds the ground.
6. Keep spray off desirable plants. Drift or overspray onto lawn, garden, or ornamentals will damage them. Avoid applying over the root zones of trees and shrubs you want to keep.

Choosing a Size

• 1 Quart — spot treatments and small jobs; mixes multiple gallons of spray
• 1 Gallon — the workhorse size for ongoing fence-row and driveway maintenance
