Description
Bring a touch of the north woods indoors with the Sunset Vista Designs Wood Moose Sculpture. This free-standing moose is cut from flat wood pieces that slot together, with a dark-stained body and legs and a broad rack of antlers in a lighter natural wood for contrast. The clean silhouette reads from across the room, and the two-tone stain gives it a handmade, cabin-decor feel. About 22" long and just over 2" wide, it stands on a mantel, console table, bookshelf or entry bench without taking up much depth.
Key Features
- Two-tone stained wood: Dark-stained body and legs with lighter natural wood antlers.
- Slotted construction: Flat body, leg and antler pieces interlock for a clean, sturdy silhouette.
- Free-standing: Stands on its own four legs on any flat, level surface.
- Shelf-friendly size: About 22" long and 2.4" wide, so it fits a mantel or narrow console.
- Sunset Vista Designs: A family-run outdoor decor company that has been designing whimsical garden art, wind chimes and hanging decor for garden centers since the 1990s.
Where to Display It
Stand it on a mantel, sideboard, entry console, wide windowsill or bookshelf where all four legs sit on a flat, level surface. It suits a cabin, lodge, farmhouse or lake house setting and looks good alongside greenery, lanterns and other wood accents. Keep it indoors or in a fully covered space, since stained wood is best kept out of rain and damp ground. Dust with a soft dry cloth and skip sprays and polishes that could change the stain. If a piece loosens, press it back into its slot. Pair it with Sunset Vista Designs figurines and rustic decor for a coordinated look.
A Thoughtful Gift
Hunters, cabin owners, lake-house hosts and anyone who loves the north woods will appreciate this moose. It suits a housewarming, Father’s Day, retirement or holiday gift, and it arrives ready to set on a shelf.
