Description

Feed the coat you want to see with NaturVet Omega-Gold Skin & Coat Scoopable Tiny Bites, a veterinarian-formulated blend of salmon oil, anchovy oil, and essential fatty acids for both dogs and cats. Omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, EPA, and DHA support natural oil production and a resilient skin barrier, which is what turns a dull, flaky coat into a glossy one. The soft hickory-smoked-bacon bites scoop straight onto food.

Key Features

  • Salmon and anchovy oil: Marine oils deliver EPA and DHA in the form pets actually use, rather than relying on plant precursors.
  • Omega-3 and omega-6 balance: Supports skin moisture retention and the natural oils that give a coat its shine.
  • Helps reduce shedding: EPA supports a healthier skin barrier, and healthier skin holds onto its hair.
  • For dogs and cats: One bag covers the whole household, with separate feeding amounts for each.
  • Salmon protein included: Adds a palatable protein source that most pets take without argument.

How to Use

Scoop the bites into your pet's bowl or offer them by hand, and mix into a meal if your pet prefers. Dogs and cats up to 20 lbs get half a scoop daily, 21 to 40 lbs one scoop, 41 to 60 lbs one and a half scoops, and pets 61 lbs and over two scoops. The daily amount can be divided between morning and evening meals, and the bites also work as a food topper. Coat changes take time, so allow four to six weeks of daily feeding. Reseal the bag and store it cool and dry, out of reach of pets and children. Marine oils are calorie-dense, so account for them if your pet is on a weight plan.

Hair grows slowly. Expect four to six weeks of daily feeding before the change is obvious, and keep going to hold it.
Most do. They are soft bites in a hickory smoked bacon flavor, and they can be crumbled into wet food for a fussier cat.
It supports the skin barrier, which usually reduces the amount of hair that comes loose. It will not stop a seasonal blowout entirely.
The omega source is comparable, but the bites do not leak, go rancid in the fridge door, or leave an oily bowl. Handling is the main difference.
Ask us or your veterinarian first — both carry omegas, and stacking them means doubling up on fatty acids without a plan.
