How to Install It
Cut the channel to its final length first, then press the end cap onto the open profile at the closed end of the run before the channel goes into the trench. Check that the cap seats fully around the flanges so the concrete haunch does not push it off during the pour. On a run with a single outlet, cap the far end; on a run that drains from the middle, cap both ends and place the outlet fitting where the pipe leaves. Keep the cap end slightly higher than the outlet end so water always moves toward the discharge. Order one cap per closed end when you buy your channel sections.

Installation
Cut the channel to final length, press the cap fully onto the open profile and confirm it seats around the flanges before the channel goes on the concrete bed. Set the capped end slightly high so the run drains to the outlet, and pour the haunch on both sides in one lift so the cap is not pushed off by uneven concrete pressure. Follow the NDS outlet connections detail at the discharge end and the pedestrian, pool deck or vehicular installation detail for the surround. Where the cap end lands at an expansion joint or paver border, keep the concrete surround continuous to the cap so the channel end is supported and does not become the weak point under a wheel load. Check the cap again after the pour before the grates go in; a cap that shifted during placement leaves an open channel end under finished pavement that cannot be reached later.
