Description
Connect a run of Techline dripline to a threaded valve, filter or PVC fitting with the Netafim Techline 17mm Insert x MPT Adapter. One end is a 17mm barbed insert that pushes into Techline CV, HCVXR, DL, RW and RWP dripline or any PE hose with a 0.56 to 0.60 in. inside diameter; the other end is a male pipe thread that screws into a female port. Choose the 1/2 in. MPT adapter (TL050MA) or the 3/4 in. MPT adapter (TL075MA) to match the outlet on your valve or manifold. The one-piece UV-resistant plastic body needs no clamps, glue or tools and holds up in full sun and wet soil for years.

How to Install It
Wrap the male threads with two or three turns of PTFE tape and screw the adapter into the female outlet of the zone valve, filter, pressure regulator or PVC female adapter, tightening by hand plus a quarter turn. Cut the dripline square, warm the end in the sun if it is stiff and push it over the barb until it seats against the shoulder. Because the fitting is one piece with an exposed barb, you can see at a glance that the tubing is fully on. Use the 1/2 in. adapter at typical residential drip valves and the 3/4 in. adapter on larger manifolds. Pair it with Techline blank tubing for headers and with 17mm elbows, tees and end caps to finish the grid.
