Description
The dripline pros reach for when they want one system that handles slopes, subsurface burial, and surface laydown without rethinking the design. Netafim Techline CV 17mm with the patented Turbonet emitter delivers 0.92 GPH at every 12 in. inlet, holds that flow consistent across pressure swings (the CV check-valve mechanism eliminates low-point drain-down and water-hammer drift), and resists root intrusion via the Cupron copper-oxide impregnated emitter outlet — no chemicals, no annual root treatments, just clean drip year after year.
Why Pros Pick Techline CV Over Generic Dripline
- Patented Turbonet emitter — wide turbulent flow path resists clogging better than narrow labyrinth emitters; self-flushes on every cycle start and stop
- Check valve (CV) mechanism — holds residual water in the line so the low emitters don’t empty out between cycles, eliminates the low-spot puddle that ruins zone uniformity
- Anti-vacuum mechanism — prevents the line from sucking dirt back through the emitters when the zone shuts off
- Cupron copper-oxide root barrier in the emitter — the only thing that reliably stops root intrusion long-term, no chemicals to inject
- Physical root barrier ring — second-line defense against roots wrapping the emitter outlet
- Made in USA from recycled plastic — UV-resistant, freeze-thaw stable, and easier on procurement spec sheets
- Pressure-regulated — rated to 58 psi max (the CV emitter handles 8.5–58 psi while metering precisely)
Where It Shines
- Surface drip on flower beds, perennial borders, and vegetable rows where 12 in. emitter spacing matches the plant pitch
- Subsurface drip irrigation (SDI) for turf and athletic-field zones — the copper-oxide barrier earns its premium underground
- Sloped landscapes where the CV mechanism keeps the dripline from drain-flushing at the bottom of the run after every cycle
- Long zone runs where pressure compensation matters — the emitter delivers 0.92 GPH consistently along the length
- Service-call retrofits replacing generic poly drip tubing with chronic clog or root problems
Pick Your Roll Length
- 100 FT roll — right-sized for a single bed install, manifold patch, or short branch run
- 250 FT roll — full-zone build, multi-bed install, or contractor stock
Both rolls are the SAME Techline CV 17mm tubing — same 0.92 GPH emitter, same 12 in. spacing, same Cupron technology. The only difference is the linear footage you take home.

Install Notes
- Use Netafim 17mm fittings — the OEM TLCOUP (coupling), TLTEE (tee), TLELL (elbow), and TL050MA / TL075MA (threaded adapters) seal correctly against the 0.56″ ID; generic 1/2″ barbs fit four sizes badly
- Lay the dripline emitter-side up on surface installs (the emitter outlets are stamped along one side of the line)
- For subsurface drip (SDI), bury 4–6 in. deep depending on root zone and emitter spacing
- Cap the downstream end with a Netafim TLFIG8 figure-8 line end or equivalent — the CV mechanism doesn’t replace the end cap
- Pressure-regulate the supply if the source is above 58 psi (a 25–30 psi inline regulator is standard)
- Flush the line at install before connecting emitters / branches to clear assembly debris
Pair With
For fittings, use the Netafim TLCOUP (inline splice), TLTEE (3-way branch), TLELL (90° corner), and TL050MA / TL075MA (male NPT to barb) — all in our catalog.
