Feeding Instructions
Feed twice daily and always keep fresh, clean water available. Use the on-pack chart as a starting point (an 8 oz cup holds 125 g of food) and adjust to maintain optimum weight. For example, a less-active 40–60 lb dog eats about 1¼–1¾ cups per day, while a more-active dog of the same size eats about 1⅞–2½ cups. Puppies 1½–3 months eat twice the adult amount, 3–6 months 1½×, and 6–11 months 1¼×. During gestation increase from 25% to 50% of the adult amount, and feed free choice during lactation.
