Fill the 4-gallon bottle, set it on the base, and gravity does the rest — as your pet drinks, the bowl refills itself with water that has passed through a charcoal filter to remove impurities. Built-in Microban antimicrobial protection inhibits the growth of stain- and odor-causing bacteria on the waterer, so the bowl stays cleaner between washes and the water tastes fresh, sip after sip.

Setup
Unscrew the cap from the bottle, remove the filter cage, unwrap the filter and rinse it under water for 30 seconds, reassemble the filter and cage onto the cap, pull the plunger to lock it in place, then fill the bottle, screw on the cap, and turn the bottle onto the base. Remove the plastic from the filter before use.
