Description

Cut steel plate, tube and sheet metal in your shop with the PrimeWeld CUT50DP 50-Amp 110v/220v Plasma Cutter, a compact inverter machine that runs on 110V or 220V power. On 220V it slices through 1/2" steel in one pass at 50 amps. On 110V it delivers up to 40 amps for 1/4" plate, and either way it dials down to 20 amps for auto body sheet metal. The AG60P pilot arc torch, ground clamp, regulator and 110V adapter pigtail are all in the box, so hook up compressed air and start cutting.

Key Features

  • Dual voltage input: Runs on 110V or 220V, and the included adapter pigtail lets you move this plasma cutter between a garage outlet and a shop circuit.
  • HF pilot arc starting: The arc fires with the torch held just above the work, which extends the life of your tips and electrodes.
  • Real cutting capacity: Clean cuts through 1/2" steel on 220V, up to 1/4" plate on 110V, and a 20 amp floor for thin sheet.
  • AG60P torch with 13 ft hose: Industry-standard AG60P consumables are easy to find, and a spare set is included.
  • About PrimeWeld: PrimeWeld of Blackwood, New Jersey backs its welders and plasma cutters with a no-hassle 3-year warranty and US-based service, parts and technical support.

How to Use It

Connect compressed air and set the included regulator between 40 and 65 PSI. Clamp the ground lead to clean, bare metal near the cut and set the amperage to match the material. Use 220V for the full 50 amps on 1/2" plate, the 110V pigtail for jobs up to 1/4", and 20 amps for body panels. Hold the torch just off the surface, pull the trigger, let it pierce, then move steadily along your line. Respect the 60% duty cycle on long cuts, swap in the spare consumables when the kerf widens, and keep the printed owner’s manual close by.
