We fill standard refillable steel propane cylinders from 20 to 100 lb, so whether it’s the BBQ bottle, a camper tank, or a patio heater, you leave topped off and ready to go.
Refill Sizes
- 20 lb — the standard BBQ grill bottle (about 4.8 gallons)
- 30 lb — campers, RVs, and larger grills (about 7.1 gallons)
- 33 lb — RVs and forklift-style cylinders (about 7.9 gallons)
- 40 lb — patio heaters, fire pits, and construction heat (about 9.5 gallons)
- 50 lb — high-demand heaters and forklift tanks (about 11.9 gallons)

Good to Know
Cylinders must be in good condition with a current OPD (overfill-protection) valve to be refilled — that covers most tanks made after 2002. Tanks older than 12 years may need recertification; ask our staff and we’ll check yours. Propane refills are an in-store service: bring your tank to Garoppo’s, we fill it, and you pay the flat price for the size.
