Keep flies and lice off the herd with Prozap Backrubber & Pour-On Insecticide 2.5 Gallon, a ready-to-use permethrin insecticide made for beef cattle, dairy cattle and swine. The 2.5 gallon jug holds an oil-based formula that goes on straight from the container, either soaked into a backrubber the cattle treat themselves against or poured along the back line of individual animals, with no measuring or mixing. It is labeled for reduction of flies, mosquitoes, ticks and lice, the pests that keep cattle bunching in the shade and rubbing on posts all summer.

How to Use It
Read the full product label before you open the jug and follow it for application rates, retreatment intervals, and any restrictions for lactating dairy cattle or animals near slaughter. To charge a backrubber, soak the rubber according to the label and hang it where cattle must pass, such as a gate to water or a mineral feeder, then recharge it as the label directs and whenever it runs dry. As a pour-on, work animals through the chute and apply the labeled amount along the back line. Wear the protective clothing the label calls for, keep the product away from feed and water, and store the jug closed in a cool spot out of reach of children and pets.
