Feeding Directions
Start at 1 pound per day and step up by 0.5 pound every two days until you reach the rate that holds your horse's condition. Most horses should top out at 4 pounds of Amplify per day. Begin feeding about 60 days before a competition, sale, show, or breeding season so the condition and coat have time to come in. Make any change in the feeding program gradually over 10 to 14 days. Some horses accept higher-fat diets less readily than others — if intake drops off, back the rate down or blend Amplify with a small amount of sweet feed. Adequate forage is still required: provide a minimum of 1 lb of hay or equivalent pasture per 100 lbs of body weight per day, and keep an eye on your horse's condition daily.
Caution: Follow label directions. Feeding added selenium at levels in excess of 0.3 ppm in the total diet is prohibited; fed as recommended, Amplify contributes no more than 0.3 ppm selenium to the total diet. Amplify is a supplement and is not to be used as an ingredient in manufacturing feed. Store in a dry, well-ventilated area protected from rodents and insects, and never feed moldy or insect-infested feed.
