Description
Set a Purina Flock Block in the run and the birds will find it within the minute. It is a 25 lb pressed block of whole grains that gives laying hens and mixed poultry flocks something to work at — nutrition and enrichment in the same package. In summer it draws out natural pecking behavior; through a long winter or a stretch of confinement it does the harder job of giving birds somewhere to peck other than each other. Oyster shell and grit are pressed right into the block, so it does double duty on shell quality and digestion.

Feeding Directions
Flock Block is designed to supplement the diet of poultry 18 weeks and older. It is not intended to be the sole ration — keep a complete Purina feed in front of the birds and use the block alongside it. To get the most life out of a block, set it on something that keeps it off the ground; direct contact with soil pulls moisture into the block and breaks it down early. Free-ranging poultry and game birds will regulate their own consumption based on how much natural forage they can find. Caution: store in a dry area away from rodents and insects. Do not feed moldy or insect-infested feed to animals, as it may cause illness or death. Use only as directed. A feeding program is only as effective as the management practices behind it, and actual results vary with feed intake, environmental conditions, and management quality.
