Feeding Directions
Feed free-choice from February through August alongside adequate forage or quality hay, and consult the feed tag on the bag for specific directions. A covered trough or self-feeder gives the best results and keeps the water resistance working for you. This is a supplement, not a complete feed — deer, elk, and exotic deer should always have free-choice access to hay or roughage, and never unrestricted corn, which causes digestive upset when eaten in quantity. If forage runs short, put out good-quality legume hay. Provide water and AntlerMax Premium Deer Mineral at all times. Caution: contains added copper and must not be fed to sheep. Store in a dry, well-ventilated area protected from rodents and insects, and never feed moldy or insect-infested feed. Check your state regulations — rules on feeding big game vary, so confirm with your local game and fish department before putting feed out.
