Feeding Directions
Measure with a standard 8 oz cup, which holds about 134 g of Pro Plan, and start from these daily amounts for an average, active adult dog fed once a day. Adjust up or down to keep your dog in lean body condition.
- 3 to 12 lb: 1/3 to 3/4 cup
- 13 to 20 lb: 3/4 to 1-1/4 cups
- 21 to 35 lb: 1-1/4 to 1-2/3 cups
- 36 to 50 lb: 1-3/4 to 2-1/4 cups
- 51 to 75 lb: 2-1/4 to 2-3/4 cups
- 76 to 100 lb: 2-3/4 to 3-1/3 cups
- Over 100 lb: 3-1/3 cups plus 1/4 cup for each 10 lb of body weight over 100 lb
Ease the switch over 7 to 10 days, feeding a little less of the old food and a little more Pro Plan each day, so the change does not upset digestion. Keep fresh water available in a clean container, and see your veterinarian regularly. Store the bag in a cool, dry place.
