Feeding Directions
Scratch Grains is a grain supplement, not a complete feed. Keep it to no more than 10 percent of the birds’ total diet and feed it to adult chickens, ducks, geese, and turkeys only. Feeding too much dilutes the intake of a complete ration such as Purina Start & Grow, Purina Flock Raiser, or Purina Layena, which pulls down nutritional intake and overall performance. Consumption varies with the season, the nutritional needs of the birds, and what else they can find to forage. Always provide shelter and a constant supply of fresh, clean water, and follow sound management, disease, and sanitation practices. Caution: store in a dry, well-ventilated area free from rodents and insects. Never use moldy or insect-infested feed. Use only as directed, and feed only to the animal species named on the label. A feeding program is only as effective as the management practices behind it, and results vary with feed intake, environmental conditions, and management quality. Questions?
