Feeding Directions
Feed Purina Start & Grow Non-Medicated to layer chicks from day one through week 18. Offer it free choice as the sole ration to free-range and confined chickens — backyard egg producers, small to medium breeds, and fancy and exotic breeds alike — from hatch until laying age at 18 to 20 weeks. Always provide shelter and a constant supply of fresh, clean water. At 18 to 20 weeks, move the birds onto Purina Layena free choice, transitioning gradually from one feed to the next rather than switching in a single day. Caution: store in a dry, well-ventilated area free from rodents and insects. Do not feed moldy or insect-infested feed to animals, as it may cause illness, performance loss, or death. Use only as directed, and feed only to the animal species named on the label. A feeding program is only as effective as the management practices behind it; follow sound management, disease, and sanitation control measures. Contains a source of live naturally occurring microorganisms.
