How to Use
Feed Strategy Healthy Edge with hay or pasture at the chart rate for your horse’s weight and lifestyle: a 1,000 lb horse in average maintenance eats about 4.25 lb per day with at least 12 lb of hay, about 6.5 lb in light work and 9 lb in moderate work. Adjust by 10 percent either way to hold condition, and never go below 0.3 lb per 100 lb of body weight; if your horse gains at that minimum, switch to Enrich Plus ration balancer. Split the day into two or three meals, change feeds gradually over 7 to 10 days, and keep clean water and salt available.
