Feeding Directions
Feed with a minimum of 12 lbs of hay or equivalent pasture for a 1,000 lb horse, then add about 5 lbs of Ultium Gastric Care per day in light work, 6.75 lbs in moderate work, or 8.5 lbs in heavy work. Scale to roughly 4 lbs and 6 lbs in light work for 800 lb and 1,200 lb horses, and 7 lbs for a 1,400 lb horse. Never feed less than 0.3 lbs per 100 lbs of body weight per day, and never more than 0.5 lbs per 100 lbs in a single meal. Split the ration into at least two meals, feed at regular times, and make any change gradually over 7 to 10 days. Keep clean water and salt available at all times.
Caution: Follow label directions. Feeding added selenium at levels in excess of 0.3 ppm in the total diet is prohibited.
