Description
QEP Mechanical China Markers come two to a pack — one red, one black — with a retractable, twist-end mechanism. Grease-style lead writes on tile, stone, glass, metal, plastic, and other non-porous surfaces where a graphite pencil simply slides off. No sharpening, no peel-string — twist the end and the lead extends. The marks wipe off easily with a dry rag, so you can lay out cuts, callouts, and reference marks on finish material without leaving a scar.
Why Tile and Stone Pros Use China Markers
- Writes on non-porous surfaces: Tile, marble, granite, glass, polished concrete, sheet metal — surfaces graphite won’t mark
- Two colors per pack: Red for cuts and callouts, black for layout lines — or pick whichever shows on your material
- Mechanical twist-end: No sharpening, no peel-back paper wrap — twist to extend lead
- Wipes off: Marks come off with a dry rag (and isopropyl for stubborn surfaces) — safe for finish material
- Pocket-clip body: Stays put in an apron pocket or shirt pocket between cuts
Use Cases
Tile cut layout, stone fabrication marks, granite callouts, glass scoring reference lines, sheet metal layout, plumbing rough-in on finish surfaces, electrical conduit marks on tile or stone, mosaic alignment, mirror cuts, polished concrete layout.
